The Boston Celtics just had an unbelievable season going 64-18 and capping it off with a game 5 win against the Dallas Mavericks to win the NBA Finals for the first time since 2008 in where they beat the Lakers in 6 games. Last season it seemed like all year it was meant for the Celtics to win the championship. With the retirement of Mike Gorman, the signing of Porzingis, and just the fact that our team has been so good but all we needed to do was be better in the playoffs. And so they did, going 16-3 in the 2024 NBA Playoffs  With their 18th Championship banner secured, the Celtics now have the most NBA Championships ahead of the Lakers. Now what they plan to do is win some more, and they definitely have the talent to do so.  The Celtics this year need to keep that defensive intensity that they carried throughout the season last year,  The Celtics led the league with the most blocks  in 2023-2024 NBA season with 538 blocks which is over 100 more than they had the year before. It seemed like the defensive intensity in the playoffs was amazing, every play mattered, Coach Mazulla did a great job with prioritizing that, because we know we have a great offense. With good defensive intensity it will shift into offensive success and so it did. If the Celtics start off the season hot, I see them having a just as good regular season as last year, even if we kept this team for 5 years I can't see  us not being top 3 every year, the only thing that could be in the way of that is the contract situation. Other than that I think the current Boston Celtics have the chance to be a dynasty and win atleast two more Finals.
