Initial postpartum assessment and care:
In this two hour session, I will perform a comprehensive assessment of both you and your baby. We will work on positioning, optimal latch, goal setting, trouble shooting when things aren't going well, best bottle feeding practices, optimizing your pumping sessions, milk storage guidelines, and how to help you reach YOUR goals. At my office location, I am also able to offer weight checks and weighted feeds.
Within 24 hours of our visit, you will receive a personalized care plan straight to your email inbox. I am able to provide a handwritten copy before leaving the session if you prefer.
After our visit, I will send a care report and plan to your baby's pediatrician and other care team members (chiropractor, SLP, pediatric dentist, etc), and I would be happy to send a report to your personal care team as well!
Follow up assessment and care:
In this 90 minute session, I will observe you and your baby during a feeding to watch for improvements from the initial visit(s) as well as make suggestions for continued improvements. At my office location, I am able to offer weight checks and a weighted feed.
We will make a new care plan that will address any concerns that you may have and any of my findings based on the current situation. We will revisit your breastfeeding goals and talk through best ways to continue reaching those goals.
After our visit, I will send an updated report and care plan to your child's pediatrician and other memebers of their care team.
Prenatal breastfeeding education and consultation:
In this 90 minute session, we will cover a variety of breastfeeding topics that you are curious about as well as topics that I feel are important for a soon-to-be parent. These topics will include guidance on goal setting, positioning, latch, pumping, safe formula preparation, partner support, and bottle feeding.
*The best time to schedule a prenatal breastfeeding consult is between 30 and 36 weeks!*
