Introductory Information
The Board of Education is comprised of 10 elected members, two from each of the five districts throughout our city. The two-year term for the current board members ends in November 2025. The Board normally conducts its regular business meeting on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. A second meeting is held on the fourth Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. called the Committee of the Whole meeting. Committee of the Whole meetings are conducted as information sessions.
Members of the public are welcome to attend any of these meetings. Meetings are held in the Board of Education Meeting Room in the Parsons Building. At times, the board may need to meet via Zoom. The Board of Education meetings are also livestreamed on MGAT/Youtube and broadcast on local governmental cable TV channels. The 2026 dates will be determined at the December 2025 Board of Education meeting and announced on the district website (www.milforded.org) when confirmed.
