As the California Mid-State Fair celebrates its 80th anniversary, the Miss California Mid-State Fair Scholarship Pageant is proud to introduce the young women stepping into the spotlight for this milestone year. With a celebratory nod to the energy, color, and optimism of the 1980s, the 2026 pageant honors eight decades of Fair tradition while looking ahead to the next generation of leaders, storytellers, and community ambassadors.
Each contestant brings her own voice, talent, style, and sense of purpose to the stage. Through interview, talent, evening wear, final question, and the Fair Platform Proposal, these young women will share who they are, what they value, and how they hope to contribute to the Fair and the community it represents. Get to know the 2026 contestants below as they prepare for pageant night, celebrate this historic anniversary, and step into an experience designed to build confidence, connection, and lasting memories.
20 years old, from Paso Robles, and continuing her education as a Junior at Oklahoma State University. She enjoys floral design, showing livestock, volleyball, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and shopping. She is part of the Oklahoma State Beta Zeta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta, Block & Bridle Club, Horticulture Club, Livestock Judging Club, Intramural Softball, and Intramural Beach Volleyball. Her accomplishments include Oklahoma State Beta Zeta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni Relations Director, Honor Roll, the FFA American Degree, California Floral Certification, and more. For her talent, she will be demonstrating a floral design creating a fresh floral arrangement while explaining the principles of design such as structure, balance, harmony, texture, and proportion. Her Proposal aims to create an inclusive livestock experience on Kids’ Day that allows children with special needs to safely interact with and learn about agricultural animals through hands-on activities, fostering confidence, education, and accessibility within the fair’s agricultural community.
17 years old, from San Miguel, and a graduate of Paso Robles High School. She enjoys sketching, being outdoors with her dogs, and listening to new music. She is part of the Wilderness Club, Paso Robles High Theater Company, and the Paso Robles High Track and Field for 2 years. She is most proud of her cord that she received in science as well as painting a mural for her AP US History Class. For her talent, she will be doing a speed painting of Michael Jackson. Her Fair Proposal aims to bring back pony rides and a petting zoo as part of a nostalgia-themed Kids’ Day experience that celebrates fair memories and creates new ones for future generations.
21 years old, from Cambria, and currently attending Cuesta College. She enjoys hiking and exploring nature, volunteering and giving back to her community, spending quality time with friends and family, and building meaningful friendships and supporting those around her. She is a Rotary Club member for 2 years, member of Student Leadership, Youth Leader of Sheriff’s Youth Summer Camp for 5 years and also on her school’s basketball and volleyball team. For her talent, she will be performing a Folklorico Dance. Her Fair Proposal is about encouraging everyone to volunteer in the community.
21 years old, from Templeton, and currently attending Cuesta College as well as being an Office Technician. She enjoys reading, painting, crocheting, jewelry-making, playing piano, and volunteering. She is currently a member of the Atascadero Kiwanis Club as well as the Christmas Wreath Fundraiser and Winemaker’s Dinner Committee. She also volunteers with Angels Bearing Gifts which works with adults with special needs in SLO County. She is currently planning Atascadero in Bloom with Atascadero Kiwanis which has a pending implementation in 2027. For her talent, she will be playing piano to “Summer” by Joe Hisaishi. Her Fair Proposal aims to increase participation in the Mid-State Fair's Fine Arts and Special Stars exhibits by promoting entry opportunities through school outreach, social media engagement, and a hands-on Kids' Day art activity that encourages creativity and inclusion for people of all ages and abilities.
18 years old, from Templeton, and attending the University of Tennessee in the Fall as a Freshman. She enjoys baking, art, reading, singing, and cheerleading. She’s been part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FFA, Templeton Rotary Club, Templeton Sheriff’s Department Explorers Program, and Templeton Cheer. She was the All-American Cheerleader for 3 years, a Scholar-Athlete Awardee and received the Coach’s & Eagle Award. For her talent, she will be reciting a monologue “When I was Little” which is about the hardships of doing what you love and the world not giving you the love back. Her Proposal aims to enhance safety and streamline alcohol sales at the California Mid-State Fair by implementing a secure age-verification stamp system that allows vendors to quickly confirm attendees are 21 or older without repeatedly checking identification.
20 years old, from Cayucos, and attending Cuesta College as a Sophomore. She enjoys weightlifting, hiking, baking and cooking, spending time with loved ones, and fire eating. She’s a part of the Rock Harbor Christian Fellowship Church, Bible Study Group, and was part of the Cheerleading, Stunt, and Track & Field at Morro Bay High School. Her accomplishments include employee of the month at Sephora, Honor Roll, Varsity Cheer Captain, Most Valuable Player for Cheerleading & Stunt, and Homecoming Queen. For her talent, she will be combining basic fire-eating tricks with torches and aerobic dancing to “Fame” by Irene Cara. Her proposal aims to improve fairgoer health and safety on Senior Day by creating an interactive sun-safety education booth that provides sunscreen, sunglasses, and information about heat and UV protection while encouraging participants to learn preventive health practices.
18 years old, from Paso Robles, and will be attending Texas Tech in the fall. She enjoys competitive dancing, teaching dance, early childhood education, and pilates and yoga. She is part of the Advanced Dance Team for 4 years, Main Street Dance Company Competition Team for 3 years, Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leader, PRHS Link Crew Leader, and many more. Her accomplishments include the PRHS College and Career Exemplar Award, Paraeducator Certification Completion, Texas Tech Presidential Merit Scholarship Recipient, and through dance, became the Elite Reveler Winner, Refresh Squad Title Finalist, HEAT’s Top 5 Soloists, and Hollywood Vibe Team Award. Her talent is a lyrical dance to the song “Carolina”. Her proposal seeks to create a free Kids Day Dance Party at the fair that teaches children basic dance skills through interactive lessons & performances, promoting confidence, creativity, physical activity, and family engagement while sharing the joy of dance with the community.
