As per the CA Fair Services Authority (CFSA), State of California, each vendor must provide proof of insurance in the form of a certificate of insurance (COI) ACCORD form, CFSA Master List OR purchase of Special Event Insurance through the Fair.
Only original PDF (ACORD form) provided directly from the insurance company or insurance agent shall be accepted. Any COIs submitted by the vendor that cannot be verified as an original from the insurance company/agent shall not be accepted.
Minimum coverage of General Commercial Liability of $1,000,000.00 per occurrence.
For Trailers (Food or Commercial Booth): Minimum coverage of Auto Liability of $1,000,000.00 combined single limits per accident.
Specifically list as Additional Insured: “That the State of California, the California Fair Services Authority, the District Agricultural Association, County Fair, the County in which the County Fair is located, Lessor/ Sublessor if fair site is leased/subleased, Citrus Fruit Fair, California Exposition and State Fair, or Entities (public or non-profit) operating California designated agricultural fairs, their directors, officers, agents, servants, and employees are made additional insured, but only insofar as the operations under this contract are concerned.”
