Practice Expectations

All practices are mandatory unless indicated ahead of time

If you miss practice, you must bring a valid doctor/school note to your next practice

All absences from practice may result in a make-up practice.

Make-ups must be completed within 14 days of the missed workout.

Failure to bring required attire (suit, dryland clothes) will result in a make-up practice

Practice is not time for study hall. Tutoring should be taken care of before school or during the lunch hour (if available). 

Five (5) unexcused absences may result in expulsion from the team

Holiday practices are mandatory for all swimmers and divers

Failure to attend holiday workouts will result in non-competition during the spring semester

If you plan on going on vacation during the holiday break, make arrangements with a coach and find a team to workout with at your vacation destination.

Make-ups will be available with Coach Flato

Extreme and/or continuous disciplinary issues both at practice and at school may result in probation or permanent expulsion from the team on a case-by-case basis

Athletes are expected to represent Midland ISD Swimming & Diving appropriately. You are expected to be respectful and considerate to all meet, non-meet, hotel, and restaurant staffs.
