Whether you are facing personal challenges or relationship conflict, therapy provides an opportunity to explore your concerns, develop your strengths, improve your relationships, and face your vulnerabilities with confidence. As a collaborative approach to personal growth, therapy offers reflective and insightful feedback within the context of a validating, present-centered environment. As we navigate the process of therapy together, the ultimate aim is a life of meaning and fulfillment.
For two decades, I have served as a counseling professional within diverse learning environments and behavioral health practices throughout the Philadelphia region. I have broad experience caring for individuals and their families, and consulting with local school districts, community agencies, and treatment facilities on best practices for trauma-informed care.
I have received formal training and supervision in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a treatment of choice for individuals who have experienced adversity and traumatic invalidation, struggle with self-worth, and have difficulty managing stress, maintaining emotional balance, and sustaining meaningful relationships. As an experienced skills group instructor, I have adapted and led DBT skills groups in a variety of treatment settings.
As an integrative practitioner, my work also draws on person-centered, solution-focused, somatic, and mindfulness-based approaches, utilizing the therapeutic relationship as a vehicle for progress. Committed to continuous learning, I regularly engage in professional development and peer consultation to ensure ongoing clinical effectiveness.
