What Is Esports?

Esports are a type of sport where you play video games and compete against other schools/teams. There are two different types of Esports you can join. You can join the friendly's (you don't need a teacher for this) or Knockout City and Rocket League ( you need a teacher for these.) I am on the 2nd Knockout City team, so I can give a good rundown of the game. For Rocket League, I'll try to give the best rundown as I can.

Knockout City

Knockout City is a multiplayer game where you try to KO your opponents. In the game, you can have teams or everyone for themselves. To KO opponents, you pick up a ball and throw it at them (of course you can catch it) or you can attack (without a ball.) Thorne has 2 Knockout City teams currently, so that means they will face each other at one point (which should be really exciting.)

Rocket League

Rocket League is a multiplayer game where you use cars to get the ball into the goal. In the game, you usually have teams, but you can play everyone for themselves too. You can drive on ramps and upsidedown. It definitely defies the laws of physics.
