Grades K-3 ELA- CKLA Unit 1 Planning

• Use today's curriculum meeting to plan with your grade level team on your first CKLA unit of the year.  Make sure to use the pacing template attachment as a guide when planning  focusing on the primary focus objectives and the end of unit assessments, working backwards to plan out the entire unit, lesson pacing, etc.  Please see the attachments below for additional professional learning resources and a guide for using the Amplify Portal.  We want to get the students on the student version of the Amplify Portal as much as possible this school year which they have access to through Clever.  This will help enhance lesson pacing as well.

• As a reminder, make sure students login to Boost Reading by Monday, September 15.  The first login will bring the students to their initial Boost Reading Skills Scan and will setup their personalized path.
