Kevin Lane, (left) assistant professor of environmental health at Boston University's School of Public Health. Kevin studied undergrad at St Michael's in Vermont (Biology and Political Science), earned a master's degree in urban studies at Tufts University, and earned a PhD in environmental health at Boston University School of Public Health, PhD. This resume looks to me like an interdisciplinary liberal arts scholar who would feel at home in a geography department. He takes a data-driven approach to studying climate health, heat stress, and air quality using statistics and geographic information systems to integrate health data and health surveys with environmental data on temperature and air quality.
