Weekly Writing: A new 'Writing To Think' activity with: Strength of a Thousand

  1. Writing to think - View the slides below of 'Strength of a Thousand', and complete the five writing activities during the week. You can do the activities using pen and paper, or on your Google Classroom.

  2. Writing to entertain - Have a look at the story writing Google Slides below and use a dice to create your characters and setting. There's a handy list to remind you about the features of a story too, so make sure you look at it a few times while you are writing your story, and once again just before you hand your work in.

If you are on Google Classroom - We can, and do, read your work before you hand it in, but it makes life easier for us if you do remember to 'hand in' your mahi.

Also, we do 'mark' your work and type you feedback and ideas for how you can improve your writing, so do make time to go back in and check and make the improvements suggested!

Finished mahi will be published on our Room 6 and Room 7 mahi pages! Go check them out!

Good luck and enjoy!
