Why Did You Decide to Join Band?
I needed a hobby and I thought it would be cool.
I've always wanted to learn how to play an instrument.
Because i like music and art and i feel that band is the connection of both of those
I wanted to join band because I had loved the recorder in 4th and 5th and wanted to try something more advanced.
I thought it would be interesting to learn how to play an instrument and learn a new skill.
I decided to join band because I've always loved music, and watching and listening to it ever since I was little. I wanted to know how the professionals made such great music.

It’s really always been a big part in my family. It’s how my parents met and they both were heavily involved with band.
What is Your Favorite Thing About Band?
Playing with the full band right before concerts and in the concerts.
Playing fun songs.
That you can interact with different people by music
The ability to learn and play with a group of people that share an interest.
That I am learning a new skill I will have for the rest of my life.
I like being able to play in full band because all the different instruments together sound so cool.
That you get better and better as you go.
Just being able to know how to play different pieces of music.
That I am not learning by myself and that others are learning with me.
My favorite thing about the band is that we get to perform pieces of music and show how much better we are from the start to finish.
Learning an instrument I didn't know how to play.
I liked when you messed up it was alright we went to the next thing or practiced more, no one got upset or mad about it and that made me feel more comfortable.
