2023 Production – Cold Hearted Snake & Schedule

The Miamisburg Viking Marching Band is proud to announce their 2023 production, Cold Hearted Snake. Featuring original music by Andrew Markworth alongside themes originally sung by Paula Abdul, the show will depict snakes in a colorful and bold production filled with exciting movement and powerful music.

You can join us on our reptilian journey and support the 2023 Miamisburg Viking Marching Band as they compete at the local, regional, and national level at the following events this fall:

• 9/16 – Norwood Invitational

• 9/23 – Bands of America Central Ohio Regional Championship – Obetz, OH

• 10/7 – Kettering Classic

• 10/14 – Miamisburg Invitational

• 10/28 – Centerville Invitational

• 11/4 – Mid-States Band Association Championships

• 11/5 – OMEA State Finals

• 11/9-11 – Bands of America Grand National Championships

As always, the band is excited to support Viking Football at all Varsity games and wishes Coach Schneider and the team the best of luck this season. Go Burg!

We are fortunate to have several new staff members joining us this year. Scott Winters returns to leading the overall program design, as well as graphics and uniform design. New brass and woodwind staff members include Jake Kaplan and Aleena Bhattacharya-Baker, both from the Cincinnati area. Aubrie-Lee Dentino joins the color guard staff as a dance and movement specialist. Edward Shaffer joins the percussion staff, serving as battery coordinator.
