WIND SYMPHONY
Directors: Steve Aylward & Ryan Wintersheimer
The Wind Symphony comprises the finest musicians at Miamisburg HS. This ensemble prepares and performs advanced wind band literature and continues the development of musical skills. Wind Symphony performs three concerts per year and participates in evaluated festivals for MFA and OMEA.
SYMPHONIC BAND
Directors: Ryan Wintersheimer & Steve Aylward
Symphonic Band is the mid-level band course at Miamisburg. This ensemble continues the development of musical skills and prepares and performs intermediate-level concert band literature. Symphonic Band performs three concerts per year and participates in evaluated festivals for MFA and OMEA.
2nd & 3rd PERIOD CONCERT BANDS
Directors: Steve Aylward, Ryan Wintersheimer, Patti Bennett
2nd and 3rd period Concert Bands are the base-level HS band courses at Miamisburg. These ensembles continue to the build on the skills developed in the middle school program. These Concert Bands performs three concerts per year and participates in evaluated festivals.
