Winter Season: The average daytime high during the winter season is around 72 °F with overnight lows of 54 °F. The winter season is the last week of October until the last week of April. (1)
Summer Season: The average daytime high during the summer season tends to be extremely hot and humid in the months of July and August, with temperatures hitting around 113 °F, and with lows of barely less than 86 °F. The summer season begins mid June until mid September. (1)

Wind
Dubai is known for their "Shamals" which are what they call strong gusts of wind that blow in over the course of a day or two. The prevailing winds are north-westerly; however, Shamals are unpredictable and can come from any direction. (12)
North-to-south wind usually comes directly from the sea, bringing in the moisture of the Persian Gulf; however, when winds go south-to-north, they bring dust and sand from the Arabian desert. (5)
Affected by 5 different air masses: Tropical Continental, Maritime Polar, Highland, Maritime Tropical, and Continental Polar, with the northern air masses cooling it down occasionally and the tropical air masses keeping it warmer throughout the majority of the year. (7)

Regime
Below is a graphic that shows the varying heat as the year progresses. Dubai has very consistent heat patterns and maintains them year after year. There is very little notable change in weather as the year progresses, however there are a few months that do see slightly more rain than the rest. (4)
