TRFs stand for Tutorial Reflection Forms (pictured below)
TRFs are made to help a student understand a confusing topic or work out a specific problem from class
The highest point to get on a TRF would be 16/16 (practice makes perfect!)
After completing a form, the AVID class splits into groups associated with common topics
Once put in groups, someone presents and the group members help solve the POC with leading questions (presentations pictured below)
TRF forms are comprised of different sections focusing on:
the essential question (EQ)
rhe original question
vocabulary associated with the problem
what you already know
the critical thinking with steps
