The program encourages students in grade 9-12 to reach out to younger children and educate them on a topic of interest. Many in the past have chosen such topics as feelings, anti-bullying, and cyber safety.
Each student entering the competition will be required to attend an introduction meeting (congress).
Once officially entered into the competition the student is required to complete at least 3 "Kid Talks" to students 4-9 years old.
There is no cost to the student to enter and all material costs and expenses are reimbursed to the student by their sponsoring lodge.
All Albertans can enter, this is not a Moose Member only competition. You are not required to maintain any grade average. This really is a chance for anyone to win!!
Once the provincial competition comes to an end, all entries will be judged by a panel of teen peers and a winner will be selected.
