CALCULATOR REQUIREMENTS FOR MATH CLASSES
A graphing calculator is required in the following math courses:
Math 10C-AP, Math 10C, Math Foundations 15
Math 20-1AP, 20-1, 20-2
Math 30-1AP, 30-1, 30-2
Math 31AP, 31
A regular calculator is sufficient in all other math courses.
The TI-83/TI-84 calculator is referred to throughout these courses and will be the calculator used in any teacher demonstrations.
A regular calculator will be sufficient for the first few chapters of Math 10C-AP, Math 10C and Math Foundations 15 so purchasing a graphing calculator prior to the first day of class is not necessary.
If you are unable to purchase a graphing calculator, the Learning Commons has a limited number of calculators which can be signed out for the semester students are registered in a math course.
