Plant Science

Students completing this course will earn three college credits.  Major course segments include growth and developments of plants; the importance of crop plants; crop classification systems; characteristics of crop plants in relation to the environment; and crop plants of economic importance to southern Wisconsin.  Students will experience plant components and functions through completion of hands-on activities and field trips to area businesses.  Transcripted College Credit is offered with this course.
