Animal Science

 Students completing this course will earn three college credits. Major course segments include an introduction to large animal science (dairy, beef, sheep, swine, goats); animal breeds and selection; animal physiology; animal nutrition; animal genetics and reproduction; livestock management; and animal products for human consumption.  Students will experience concepts through completion of hands-on activities and field trips to area businesses. Transcripted College Credit is available with this course.
