ROAR Day

Next week is Read Across America Week! One of our activities to celebrate reading is ROAR (Reach Out And Read) Day. This is a day to take time to read aloud to others and/or share a good book that you recommend. To prepare, watch one of my videos below that will help you:

• Choose a picture book to read aloud,

• Look for an informational article to read aloud, or

• Prepare a book review to share. (Make a copy of this form to prepare your own book review.)

You may also have your own picture book at home that you want to read aloud. Or you may want to read a poem or read some song lyrics (appropriate for school, of course).
