Mooresville High School Final Gateway Project

What is the Final Gateway Project?

Formerly known as the capstone project, the Final Gateway project is completed by every Mooresville High School senior as a way to present their skills and abilities as they approach graduation. Students choose their own topic or skill of interest for the semester-long project. Throughout the project, students engage in research, creatively demonstrate their knowledge and present their learning to a panel of judges. This project is the final gateway project that MGSD students have completed in 3rd, 6th, and 8th grades.

This project allows students to build and hone true 21st Century Skills of creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication.

Each semester, English IV students have completed this project and have created some amazing projects. In Mooresville, we are extremely proud of our students' success and our faculty's dedication to "Every child. Every day."
