Welcome! 

Hey everyone! Listen up if you're a student at Metuchen High School! Join us, the awesome Environmental Club, and be part of something truly amazing. Our club is all about making a difference and having a blast while we're at it. We're on a mission to make our environment, wildlife and nature, and human health the best they can be. Be sure to check out our mind-blowing current and past projects below – you won't believe what we've accomplished! 

A brief note from current members: 

• We have recently submitted projects to the Sustainable Jersey for Schools and Student Climate Change Challenges. The former was done in an attempt to re-certify the school as sustainable, with the later being done to win a grant. Obviously, both projects were also incentivized by general commitment to sustainability and the Environment. These projects required many hours of work, accomplished by several teachers, our principal, the administration, and obviously the club. Well done team!

• Currently, we are maintaining an active Hydroponic System, and also are in the advance stages of recreating our Wildlife Garden. This has included creating a garden design, acquiring pertinent seeds, and cutting back pre-existing plants. All of this was done with the incredible help of a Master Gardener at our school, who has provided us with invaluable guidance on how to make this a reality.
