SEED Registration for Fall 2025 has closed!
SEED Unit Activities Outline: Provides an outline view of the activities as they are arranged in the SEED sections 1-3. (Green Button to the Right)
Each activity has the corresponding Ohio fifth Grade Life Science Standard listed next to the title (ex. (5.LS.1)).
The stars designate those activities that the Columbus City School Curriculum Coordinators felt best aligned with the fifth grade Ohio Life Science Standards and also those activities they believe would be best to complete should a teacher need to adjust lesson pacing.
Each unit is in a drop-down below. You may choose to differentiate for your classroom and individual students by picking and choosing certain documents that you think would best align for your class! Most teachers have found that completing all SEED activities may take more time than allotted for fifth grade Life Science. Therefore, it is advisable that you use these tools as an overarching framework for you as you plan your SEED Unit.
