Chromebooks aren't as high powered as a PC laptop and hotspots are only as good as the cellular signal that they receive.
(The best connection is hardwired - then down to wifi, then hotspot).
We recommend:
Having the hotspot in an area that is getting best cell reception (no basement)
Sitting next to the hotspot.
Keeping both the chromebook and hotspot plugged in (fully charged)
Before each use, make sure that the chromebook is connected to the hotspot.
If a Chromebook gets lost or stolen, please report it to the Tech Team as quickly as possible so the device can be tracked! Email us at: MPSTechHelp@methuen.k12.ma.us

Chromebook Tricks (doc)
Please clean the Chromebook screen with a damp microfiber cloth or any cleaning cloths that are linen free.
Use bleach-free disinfectant wipes for the keyboard or a solution of 70 percent rubbing alcohol and 30 percent distilled water.
Using full-strength rubbing alcohol can damage the oil-repellent coating that helps to keep smudges off the screen.
