Program Description: Through lectures and hands-on laboratory investigations in state-of-the-art laboratories, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of disciplines such as molecular biology, neuroscience, pharmacology, immunology, physiology and other medical sciences. Students will learn how laboratory science can be translated into improved human health, and they will engage in investigative experiences that will allow them to apply their laboratory skills to real life problems. In addition, students will interact with practicing professionals in fields such as medicine, physician assistant, psychology and biomedical laboratory research. The Health and Biomedical Sciences camp will provide a fun, challenging and engaging college environment in which students will develop a deeper understanding of what it means to be a biomedical scientist and health professional!

Wisconsin International Precollege Academy | Residential June 28–July 18 OR virtual sessions
An experiential learning opportunity in higher education for international students. The program offers interactive workshops and presentations along with excursions and community outreach activities that sample the culture, traditions and values of the Midwest. The virtual option explores educational opportunities in STEAM and helps students build the skills needed to apply to and succeed at an American university.
Badger Summer Scholars | July 20–Aug. 1 | Residential or commuter
A college-level seminar in the student’s choice of subject, taught by UW–Madison instructors. Students participate in Jump Forward, a workshop series on how to prepare for college, including the admissions process, navigating college, career exploration and more. For over fifteen years, Marist has created a top Summer Pre-College program that gives students a sense of college life, provides a taste of a college major, and allows students to earn college credit all while still in high school. With more than 20 unique courses, this summer's sessions will take place over two weeks, with start dates of June 29, 2025, and July 13, 2025.

Young Filmmakers' Workshop by Messiah University
Messiah University's Young Filmmakers Workshop is a summer creative program offering residential and commuter options for young filmmakers entering grades 10-12. The five day filmmaking workshop will offer novice high school age filmmakers an opportunity to learn basic filmmaking principles while developing, filming and editing a short film. Students will work collaboratively to complete scriptwriting prompts and storyboard a short film based on three prearranged setting. Each crew will "act" in the other team's film as they alternate at each setting throughout the week. The final full day will be dedicated to editing the short films and the workshop will conclude with a screening for students and their families in Parmer Cinema.
Young Writers Workshop by Messiah University
The Young Writers Workshop will take place on June 22 through June 27, 2025.
This is a summer writing program with commuter and residential options. Registration is open to students entering 9th - 12th grade in Fall 2025.
Through this enriching, summer writing camp environment our students improved their skills as writers and make great friends with people that share their same passion.

Psychology Camp by Messiah University
Psychology Camp is a summer program with residential and commuter options in 2025 held on the scenic, suburban campus of Messiah University, located just 12 miles from Harrisburg, PA. It will begin Sunday afternoon and will run through Friday. This enriching summer camp environment will help students gain knowledge and explore various branches of psychology including clinical psychology, abnormal psychology, and biopsychology. The Summer Journalism Academy at Boston University gives high school students the opportunity to expand their skills and prepare for college, either through a residential experience on campus or through remote instruction from home.

Students will be introduced to unique aspects of Villanova’s College of Engineering including international service learning opportunities, sustainable engineering, and engineering entrepreneurship. Coastal Marine Education and Research Academy

Hands-On Shark and Ray Research Project in Clearwater, Florida
Summer Program: Professor led, hands-on, marine field research experience in Clearwater, Florida. All participants will be involved in all aspects of a local population study on sharks and rays. This includes setting and retrieving nets and longlines, handling and identifying captured animals, tagging and measuring all captured sharks and rays, collecting DNA, recording data, and releasing animals. Each day begins with a lecture on shark and ray identification, biology, physiology, and conservation as well as our local ecosystems, species, and other conservation topics. After the 1 - 2 hour lecture in the morning, the day continues with approx 6 hours of field research aboard our vessels. We are out on the boats Monday - Friday each week.
Who should attend: Anyone 18 years of age or older interested in pursuing a career in the natural sciences would greatly benefit from this hands-on opportunity. This includes incoming freshmen, currently enrolled students, and college graduates. This program provides invaluable research and animal handling experience. Such unique field training will make you a competitive candidate for future internships, graduate school, and jobs. There are no prerequisites and no previous experience is necessary.
Course credit: Most students receive credit for our program and should discuss receiving course credit for this program with their advisor. Whether or not you receive course credit, this field research experience will be a very beneficial addition to your résumé or CV. Credit is often listed as research experience, internship credits, independent study, capstone project, marine biology/science credit, and other related titles.
Housing: Affordable and fully furnished housing is available to our summer program participants at a very affordable rate and includes Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, linens, and laundry facilities.
Transportation: After arriving in the Tampa/Clearwater, FL area, transportation is provided to/from: airport, bus station, our classrooms and boats, and the grocery store.

Next summer, we are offering five distinct pre-college programs, each of which provides rigorous and collaborative college life experiences that will enable students to gain a strong sense of their personal and academic potential and get a glimpse of their futures. Here is a brief overview of each of our programs:
High School Honors is a six-week residential, commuter, or online program in which students take Boston University undergraduate courses and earn up to 8 transferable college credits. Students must be entering their junior or senior year of high school in fall 2025.
RISE Internship/Practicum is a six-week, non-credit residential or commuter program in which domestic students conduct university-level scientific research under the guidance of university mentors and instructors. Students must be entering their senior year of high school in fall 2025.
Academic Immersion (AIM) is a three-week, non-credit residential or commuter program for students to focus intensively on a single academic topic while experiencing life on a college campus. This summer we are offering four AIM tracks: Introduction to Experimental Psychology; Introduction to Medicine; Creative Writing; and Business. Each track combines classroom work in the subject area with hands-on experiential learning activities. Students must be entering their junior or senior year of high school in fall 2025.
Summer Challenge is a two-week residential program in which students take two non-credit seminars of their choice and experience college life. Students must be entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year of high school in fall 2025.
Summer Preview is a one-week, non-credit residential or commuter program in which students explore one subject of interest while previewing the college experience. Students must be entering eighth grade or their freshman or sophomore year of high school in fall 2025.

Why Rosetta?
The Rosetta Institute of Biomedical Research is focused on creating highly-regarded workshops for high-achieving high school and middle school students who want to learn college-level material, be taught by college-level professors and STAND OUT against their peers with college admissions.
Our instructors are PhD- and MD-level scientists who are actively engaged in medical research, and they expose students to cutting-edge molecular biology through engaging lectures, real-world labs, and independent projects. Attendees make friends from around the world, strengthen their academic skills, build their college portfolio, and experience college dorm life in a safe environment.
We offer workshops during both winter break and summer (available in both online and in-person formats), including summer residential programs held at UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, Columbia University, and University College London. Our in-person workshops include AI-Enhanced Bioinformatics, Molecular Neuroscience, Molecular Biology of Cancer, Molecular Immunology, Molecular Biology of Aging, Biomedical Research, and several versions of Bioinformatics (Neurologic, Immunologic, Cancer, Aging), whereas our online workshops are Medicinal Chemistry, Medical Bioinformatics and Introduction to Cellular and Molecular Medicine.

Summer 2025 Workshops:
During the summer we offer in-person workshops held at UCB/UCSD/Columbia/University College London (residential and commuter), and at our facility in Alameda, CA (commuter-only). Several online options will also be available.
Our residential programs held at the universities include AI-Enhanced Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology of Cancer, Molecular Neuroscience, Molecular Immunology, Molecular Biology of Aging, and Bioinformatics workshops with several different emphases (Cancer, Neurologic, Immunologic, Aging). During these two-week residential programs students stay in on-campus undergraduate dorms and eat in campus dining facilities. Teaching assistants/residential advisors live with the students and the instructors are on-site 24 hours/day, providing a safe introduction to college life and the opportunity to explore three of the world’s best universities.

Students who attend a School District of Philadelphia public high school or charter high school are considered for a limited number of scholarships for the Penn Summer Prep Program or Summer Academies.
Scholarship students are now required to stay on campus for the program, and have access to:

As you complete the online application, when asked if you attend a School District of Philadelphia school, select “Yes” to be considered for the scholarship. Once your application is reviewed, you will receive an email with a survey to complete regarding your financial details and eligibility. Complete and return the form by Mar 15th for scholarship consideration.
Scholarship decisions will be released during our admissions release window of April 1 to April 15. During that time, students will find out if they were admitted to the program with a scholarship if they were admitted without a scholarship, waitlisted, or unable to be offered admission to their program of choice.
Lehigh University
The Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive (IGEI) is a four-week, immersive, experiential learning opportunity for high school students to develop skills in entrepreneurship, leadership, and global citizenship. At IGEI, we prepare participants to take on complex, multi-system, global challenges in creative and collaborative ways.
