July 15-August 18th Update

If you have been to Arrowhead or driven down Level Road during the summer, you may have noticed the construction vehicles as well as the new Arrowhead School building being constructed. The construction workers and team have made a lot of progress during the summer months.


As an update from the July Newsletter, the gymnasium CMU walls are currently being constructed to full height and grouted. The outside brick façade work is beginning on exterior walls and the stair towers. The exterior wall steel studs, framing, and sheathing is currently being completed in Building A (2 story area). Lastly, the structural steel framing has been completed and the team is finishing up some detailing while setting bar joists and roof decking. Additional work will include prepping for the concrete slab on grade throughout the facility. The plumber and electrician will be installing in wall and under slab piping.


Exciting times as we watch the construction the new building.


August 27th, 2021 Update

The construction team is currently working on the masonry wall construction as well as the gymnasium north façade. In addition, the slab on grade concrete pour was completed for the 1st floor classroom wing. Lastly, the classroom corridor, partition, and wall framing is being installed on the 2nd floor.
