Program Curriculum

Guidance Lessons

Counselors visit classrooms once per month for guidance and address several topics including Suicide Awareness and Prevention, Conflict Resolution & Communication, Injury and Violence Prevention, Healthy Relationships and Future Planning. We also pushed out a district wide Suicide Awareness and Prevention program called, "Stay Here."

Data is collected each year regarding the number of suicide screeners completed, the number of students seen, and mediations necessary.

At the end of each year, data is compared to analyze trends and judge the effectiveness of the guidance lessons.
