Our Club Newsletter consists of weekly or biweekly news on what each STEAM club is working on at the moment for parents and students to get a visualization of what students have been participating in every Friday.

In drama, students worked on skits and drama exercises. They are getting ready to begin practicing their play that they will be performing at the end of the year party.

In sports, students played a game of soccer. They were first divided into two groups to practice and then played against each other.

Today students worked with Ms.Martinez on a gingerbread stem challenge. Students worked on building a gingerbread and helping it cross the water by building him a boat with the hopes it doesn't sink.

This Friday, students worked on creating wreaths using wire wreaths and fabric. Students enjoyed a small fun activity that involved Christmas so they can take a small gift home to their family.

In ceramics students created a Christmas themed cup. Using clay, students worked independently to create a small shaped bowl or cup and painted it with Christmas colors. Mr.Hernandez and Ms.Inda had a presentation for them to help their students.

Students in Journalism continued to go to different clubs and took pictures and noted what each club worked on. Students in journalism also took a look at our STEAM website to update it.

In Legos/Robotics club, students worked on building a car out of legos. When building their car, they worked with a group to build it and send it off on a small ramp. Students used Bric Q as it is a useful resource for students to learn how to build a successful piece using their engineering skills.
