Hi there! My name is Sydney Morgan. I recently graduated from Merrimack College in May with my Masters in Nutrition and Human Performance and passed my RD credentialing exam in June. I have always loved all things food and fitness and look forward to developing a fulfiling career out of my passions!
My college journey began at the University of Rhode Island where I was pursuing a PharmD. I realized I wanted to help people optimize their health through food and fitness, not medication and decided to transfer schools. After completing my undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences at UMass Lowell, I took a year off from school to work. This timing lined up perfectly with the inaugural year of the new MS Nutrition and Human Performance program at Merrimack which got me to where I am today!
My interests in the nutrition field vary. I have a passion for performance nutrition and applying those concepts to our military service members and law enforcement officers to help them operate at the highest level while simultaneously leading healthy lives. I also have interests in critical care and nutrition support, pregnancy & lactation, GI disorders, and fueling for ultra-endurance events.

My experience at Merrimack has been fulfilling and unique. I feel thoroughly prepared to enter the workforce as a registered dietitian!
