I am so excited to be part of this venture to bring another opportunity for theatre to the you and community of Meridian! I fell in love with children's theatre while working as a tour actor/director for Missoula Children's Theatre; traveling across the country with the shows "The Jungle Book" and "Robin Hood ". Before that, I was fortunate enough to tour with American Family Theatre, based in Philadelphia, performing "Beauty and the Beast" for schools throughout the Southeast.

Theatre can challenge you in a unique way that no other activity can, and it is amazing to see the confidence and teamwork that can grow, especially in children and teens. I have constantly been involved in theatre, both community and professional, both onstage and off, for the last 23 years, and was blessed to meet my husband while doing summer-stock locally. It's been the gift that keeps on giving, and it's our dream to help develop Meridian CUE, along with our best friends, into something the community can be proud to be a part.

Theater brought me to Idaho nine years ago, and since then I've been a part of more than 20 shows in the area. From Gaston to Jud Fry and Jacob Marley to Randall P. McMurphy, I've loved the time I've spent on stage. An addition to our family is limiting my time for onstage antics, so I'm thrilled to transition to a supporting role for Meridian CUE! My accounting degree and background will come in handy keeping the numbers straight for our budding performers.

I have had the joy of working with youth and theatre for the past 12 years. I have loved seeing many of those kids grow into teenagers and adults during that time. I have seen how theatre has helped them in their lives, which leaves me wanting to be part of a theatre that focuses a large part of their efforts on helping the youth. Meridian CUE is a dream come true and we are so excited to help it to grow into a productive theatre in the Treasure Valley Area.

I have been involved with theatre for many years through acting, directing, and choreographing. Some of my highlights are Leaf Coneybear- 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Seymor- Little Shop of Horrors, and Cogsworth- Beauty and the Beast.

It has been a dream of mine to run a community theatre where the focus is education for the youth and our foundation is built upon volunteers who share a passion for the arts. Meridian CUE has been in the making for several years, and when we hit the ground running with our first official season in 2013, I couldn't have been more thrilled than to be joined by some of my best friends.

The Treasure Valley is one of the best places to be when working in the arts! I hope that the Treasure Valley will accept this organization and will find a way to get involved so they can give back to their community. There is no place like the arts to remind us of our roots, provide an outlet for our talents, and support us in our dreams. Meridian CUE was formed for YOU! Come join us!

Meridian CUE is a 501(c)(3) Organization. All members of this organization donate their time fully and are not compensated... except when we buy them lunch during our camps.
