On Thursday 1st of October, the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen made a statement regarding the Withdrawal Agreement at EU headquarters in Brussels. The UK revealed controversial provisions from its Internal Market Bill earlier this month, which the EU did not agree with as it breached the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement that had already been written up. The EU gave the UK until the end of the month to withdraw these controversial provisions but they have not done so as of now. The EU Commissioner has given the British government one month to reply to a letter that they have recently sent out or they will proceed with legal action.
