Medication

Medication Policy:

NO student may take any medication without their parent/guardian having first submitted the appropriate physician's order form for administering medication at school. The following are the guidelines to follow if your student should ever need to be given medication while at school (this includes prescription, over the counter, cough drops, lotion/cream, and nasal spray):

  1. Parents/guardians must bring in all medication. Children are NEVER to carry medication to or from school in their book bags.

  2. All medications must be brought to school in the original container.

  3. All medications will be discarded at the end of the school year if not picked up by an adult. (This includes spacers for inhalers, nebulizer equipment, unopened medications, and medications that have not yet expired.)
