We believe in verbal, plenary inspiration of the Bible. It should be taken literally using a historical grammatical hermeneutic. It is our duty to study God's Word (Ecclesiastes 12:12; 2 Timothy 2:15) and to teach that information to others (2 Timothy 2:2).
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He is the only person to ever live that upheld the law perfectly and never sinned. “Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” (Romans 5:9–10, KJV)
We believe that “...by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8–9, KJV). This means that God, in His infinite Grace and Mercy sent His Son to die on the cross. We cannot earn Salvation and it does not depend on our own merit, we are Saved because of Christ's death on the cross and His resurrection from the Grave. You must humbly put your Faith in trust in Christ personally.
We believe that Sanctification happens in 3 parts: Positional, Progressive, and Ultimate Sanctification. Positional Sanctification is when we are Saved: it is our standing before God. Progressive Sanctification is our continual growing (Romans 12:1-2 talks about being transformed by the renewing of your mind). Ultimate Sanctification is when we are in Eternity with the Savior, not affected by sin. Progressive Sanctification should result in Spiritual Fruit.
We believe that in the end times Jesus Christ will judge the living and the dead, the righteous and the wicked. Those that are Saved will spend eternity praising the Savior, and those that are unbelievers will spend eternity in a conscious suffering in the Lake of Fire, commonly called Hell.
Our vision: To talk about what is most important to us: the Word of God. We value (A) the discussion of God’s Word and our high view of it, and (B) having a great time deliberating the practical application.
