Examples of Student Success
One of the biggest areas of success that I have seen so far this school year is a shift in my student's mindset and their confidence in math. Many students walked into my classroom dreading math and thought that they would never be "good at math". As my many of my students walk out of my classroom this year, I am hearing positive comments about math and how proud they are for overcoming so many new concepts during their 7th grade year.

As my many of my students walk out of my classroom this year, I am hearing positive comments about math and how proud they are for overcoming so many new concepts during their 7th grade year.
Through project based learning and vertical whiteboard discussions students have been able to connect how these new concepts can apply to their real life and how 7th grade concepts can be used even when they are not in school.
"Mrs. Schlosser has gone above and beyond to support the establishment of Menifee Virtual School. She volunteered to be a part of a parent engagement committee to be formed, amongst other committees that she was willing to volunteer for. She has shown to be an assett to our partnership with Hans Christensen Middle School, helping sub in her strategic time when there was no other sub coverage, and even helped with student dismissal duty when she saw a need.
She shares answers to questions to new colleagues and is committed to the success of our new school."
