Workshop 1

Short-term joint staff training event on European Youth Parliament (EYP) methodology and ECVET certifications. The leading organization Askim Videregående Skole organized the meeting in Norway (15.09.2019 – 18.09.2019). Two representatives from each partner school participated.

The EYP methodology included:

• how to organize democratic assemblies,

• how to debate in international meetings,

• how to work in international project groups,

• how to present a political issue\up to date topic,

• how to find solutions to political issues,

• how to vote for the best solutions,

• how to write political end documents\resolutions.

The ECVET part of the workshop included:

• what the ECVET certificate is about,

• what is a unit of learning outcomes,

• how to create a unit of learning outcomes,

• how to put together the certificates and units of learning outcomes.

We agreed on the main topic for the second – students - workshop. The assembly & committee work on the chosen topic is Sustainability + 4 related subtopics: fashion, food consumption, plastic pollution, and carbon-free mobility.
