Time to turn in library books!
Monthly Challenge
Summer Challenge
Last summer we worked on a bingo card. We read in different places and different genres.
This year we want to spend TIME reading. Our challenge is for you to read 20 minutes a day for 50 days OR 1,000 minutes this summer. Come by the school office and pick up a page, or save the picture and edit digitally. Color in a book for every 20 minutes you read and tell us what you read for that 20 minutes. It can be books, comics, the newspaper, magazines, or even audiobooks if you read along. Turn in your sheet the first week of school or anytime in August to the school office for a prize and to be entered in the drawing for a bigger prize! Happy Reading!
Throughout the Year
This year our reading challenge will be happening all school year with a new topic each month.
When a student finishes the monthly challenge, they can come talk to the librarian about the book they finished. They will receive a water bottle sticker and a button to attach to their backpack.
Collect 8 of the 10 buttons by the end of the year and get invited to the end-of-the-year Reading Challenge Party!
Let's get started!
