For all rentals - Select the "deliver to my school" option
If you do not own an instrument and would like to rent one there are many companies that specialize in renting student level instruments. For your convenience, we have arranged for David French Music to provide Band rentals and Johnson Strings to provide string rentals this year.
This year we will not have an in-person Rental Night as we usually do. All rentals will be arranged online and then delivered to the schools. Families who register will receive this information after registration closes. There is a separate fee for this service which varies depending on the instrument. See the websites linked below for pricing information. Select your instrument like you are going to order online and it will show you the pricing.
You will be able to order your book and all the necessary accessories when you fill out your rental contract. If you are not renting and need to purchase any of these items. See the links further down this page for more information.
Please contact the Educational Representative below with questions or concerns.

The rental companies are responsible for instrument sterilizations per state regulations.
Music books are required for all students and may be purchased on Rental Night.
All violin and viola players will need to purchase a shoulder pad.
All brass players will need to purchase a B.E.R.P.
Music stands are strongly encouraged for student practice at home.
If you are not renting and need any of these materials, you can purchase materials at the links below.
Standard of Excellence Book 1 (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Percussion)
Essential Elements 2000 (Violin, Viola, Cello)
Essential Elements 2000 Book 2 (Year 3 strings only)
Beginners on violin and viola usually start on a 1/4 or 1/2 size instrument and require a full-size instrument when they are physically bigger. Consequently, no string instrument should become a permanent possession unless it is full-sized.
The rental instrument may be purchased at any time by deducting the accumulated paid rental fees from its retail selling price (plus sales tax.) A 30% discount on the outstanding balance will be allowed for purchase if the payment is made at one time.
