The flute is the first instrument in the woodwind family. It is available to students in grades 3, 4, &5
The oboe is a double reed instrument in the woodwind family. It is available to students in grades 4 & 5
The clarinet is a single reed instrument in the woodwind family. Clarinet is available to students in grades 3, 4, & 5.
The saxophone is the last instrument in the woodwind family and also uses a single reed like the clarinet. Saxophone is available to students in grades 4 & 5.
The trumpet is the first instrument in the brass family. Trumpet is available to students in grades 3, 4, & 5
The french horn is also in the brass family. The french horn available to students in grades 4 & 5.
The trombone is part of the low brass family. The trombone is available to students in grades 4 & 5
(it is much lighter than it looks!)
The euphonium is in the low brass family. The euphonium is available to students in grades 4 & 5. It is a good choice for students who like the sound of low notes like the trombone with the valves of a trumpet!
Percussion students will learn both snare drum and mallets. Percussion is available to students in grades 4, & 5
