Sunday 26.05

... Estimated arrival time of Iceland group to Tallinn Airport.

Transfer to Tartu. Families meet the students. Teachers transfer to the hotel.

Monday 27.05

8:00 Teachers pick up from the hotel.

8:30 Official welcome meeting at Raatuse school

8:45 Presentations of both schools and countries

9:15 School tour guided by our students

10:15 Icebreakers and Estonian language class for our visitors

12:10 Lunch at school for all students and teachers

13:00 Food pyramid and diverse nutrition, school food analysis according to this. Workshop.

14:30 Estimated time to leave the school to the city tour for all, guided by Estonian students. Optional – you can visit the tower in Dome Church ruins on Toome hill (4 eur per person)

Tuesday 28.05

8:30 Water workshop

10:00 Fish, Emajõgi, bulletin boards

12:10 Lunch at school for all students and teachers

13:30 AHHAA center - the biggest science center in Baltic States (introduction)

14:30 Planetarium show in English – the others observe the main exposition of AHHAA (Icelandic students+teachers)

15:00 Workshop in English (Chocolate Laboratory, Icelandic students+teachers)

16:00 Science theater performance (free entrance, not obligatory, everybody can go in and out whenever they want) – they usually have the performance daily at 16:00, but we can’t guarantee.

Students are free to spend their time in AHHAA until closing time (19:00) or until the families will pick them up to go to home or their hosts will take them home.

Wednesday 29.05

8:30 Tartu University Nature Museum

10:30 Games, sports at school

12:00 Surprise!

12:10 Lunch at school for all students and teachers

Thursday 30.05

8:30 Visit to the Endla bog – hiking (please put on comfortable clothes and footwear)

12:30 Final picnic at Endla Nature Reserve area

14:30 Elistvere animal park (optional)

Friday 31.05

... Departure to Tallinn Airport with rental bus.
