Fourth grade music students will explore musical elements such as rhythm, pitch, form, mood and timbre through singing games, folk dances, and instrument ensembles. We are looking forward to beginning the year with a unit on World Music Drumming, which incorporates tubanos (African style drums), mallet instruments, and non-pitched percussion. In the spring, students will learn to play the ukelele! There is lots to look forward to in 4th grade music class!
