In second grade we continue to develop our singing voices and sense of beat and also begin to read and notate rhythms and melodies. Students will enjoy a variety of musical experiences including songs, rhythmic speech, movement, instrument playing, composing/improvising, and musical games.
This year we will be taking a musical trip around the world as we sing, dance, and play music from many different cultures. We can't wait to show you some of our favorite musical activities at our Heritage Day Concert in May!
