About this Intervention
This is an Academic Intervention Service for students that need extra help with their mathematics skills.
Students are placed in AIS based on grades, scores on Fastbridge skills tests, and teacher recommendation.
Students can be removed if they show improvement, and their teacher feels they no longer required the additional service.
7th Grade Students will be aiming for an IXL Level of at least 700.
Students will be using IXL to practice their math skills a great deal. They can access this through Clever. Student should be practicing recommended skills and completing the Diagnostic Arena regularly (Instructions on next page). When a 7th Grader reaches grade level (700) they can be dismissed from AIS.
Khan Academy is another helpful site for students to practice their skills. Link is to the left.
