We will have 6 units that we will be covering in ELA that include a variety of nonfiction texts, fiction stories, and poetry. During these units, we will build background and vocabulary knowledge and practice a variety of reading strategies such as main idea and point of view. We will also be practicing phonics skills to help improve our reading comprehension and reading fluency. Each text will take place over a two week period.
