Maine College of Art & Design is pleased to offer a new opportunity to individuals completing of our Post-Baccalaureate in Art Education to apply previous institutional credits in the Post-Bacc program to our Master of Arts in Teaching graduate degree. This new program allows our MECA&D Post-bacc recipients to earn their graduate degree by completing just the two remaining courses in the MAT program. We offer these courses fully online for high flexibility. This course (MAT800: The Artist as Educator) positions our Teacher Candidates—and, in this case, our teachers—directly in the studio as they make and practice making.
