What Will We Learn?

This year, students will learn how to use the computer as a tool for art. Students will practice art/design principles and skills while using digital media to produce their own digital art projects. Additionally in the year long class, students will learn basic videography, including the use of green screens.

Curriculum: The following is a tentative list of topics/units that will comprise the Multimedia I Curriculum:

• Manipulation of photographs in Photoshop - manipulate photographs and other raster graphics

• Commercial Digital Imaging - create illustrations; design, stylize and manipulate text for print or digital distribution

In addition the year long class will learn how to :

• Digital Video - shoot and edit basic film projects; plan, create and produce beginning digital audio projects
