Scholarships

Scholarships are free money that students do not have to pay back. 

Some scholarships are merit-based and some are need-based.  Please note that there are scholarships and grants that are open to students of all grades- although our community scholarships focus much more on the seniors and usually arrive in my office between January-April. Students should always read through the eligibility requirements for applying for scholarships and check the deadlines for submitting. And remember, you should never have to pay money or provide credit card information to apply for scholarships!!!

Get Schooled!
Get Schooled was founded in 2010 through a partnership with Viacom and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This scholarship search engine is easy to use and the site itself has great snipits of information to help you navigate High School, College Admissions, Financial Aid, College itself and career!  (Plus, for each article read/activity done, you can earn points and get prizes!)

Peterson’s
One-stop scholarship resource with a number of great (and free!) resources.  It has the tools and tips you need to start your search.

One of the largest databases and is updated daily.
