Note-taking and Note-processing

2. underline main ideas/claims and evidence supporting claims

3. star potential test questions

4. place a ? by any confusing information

5. chunk (group) notes into sections - create a question in the left column - one question per chunk (section)

6. answer the Essential Question and each lefthand column question in the summary section

7. Fold over - fold paper over, hiding the notes and quiz yourself using the left column questions

8. work with a classmate and quiz each other

9. ask a teacher or classmate for help on confusing parts
