MDARC provides a wide variety of programs and activities for its members. These include hosting and staffing our Campout and Field Day each June, PACIFICON (ARRL Pacific Division convention since 1920) each October, public service events, great monthly meeting speakers, newsletter, ham radio classes, license testing, vehicle deployments, ATV and weekly on the air nets. Our annual holiday party and radio equipment auction are all enjoyable events!

MDARC can help provide Amateur Radio communications support for your event and assistance planning better event communications, event safety and event coordination. We can support all event areas including areas where cell phones do not work, SAG/Sweep Vehicles, Rest Stops, Water Stations, etc. Contact the MDARC Public Service Coordinator listed on the Public Service Page for assistance.

The Mount Diablo Amateur Radio Club (MDARC) was founded in 1947. Today it has a membership of over 300 dedicated hams and is one of the largest amateur radio clubs in California. MDARC's purpose is to encourage innovation in amateur radio, provide public service and educational opportunities, foster goodwill within our community, and have fun in the process.
