This course will navigate the events of the United States from the Great Depression through the Modern Era (1929-2018). We will focus on topics such as:

• The Great Depression
• World War II
• Cold War (Korean War, Vietnam War, Arms Race, Berlin Wall)
• Era of Change (Civil Rights, Cultural Change)
• Economic and Political changes of the 1970-2000s
• Modern domestic & foreign policies and their impact on the global stage

Class lessons will utilize a combination of formats including web resources, video, document study, and a strong emphasis on writing.
